Four Peralta Community College District (PCCD) trustees could run uncontested this November, according to records from the Alameda County Registrar of Voters.
No challengers have stepped up to compete for a spot on the Board of Trustees, records reviewed by The Citizen show.
Three out of the four incumbents up for re-election have yet to declare their candidacy with the Registrar of Voters.
Bill Withrow, the Area 1 Trustee representing Alameda, filed a declaration of candidacy form on July 25.
Area 2 Trustee Paulina Gonzalez-Brito, Area 4 Trustee Nicky González Yuen, and Area 6 Trustee Dyana Delfín Polk have not completed filing a declaration of candidacy.
The Registrar of Voters did not allow The Citizen to take photos of the documents.
The deadline for candidates to officially declare candidacy is Aug. 9 at 5:00 p.m.
