Dustin Chu, Staff Writer

Dustin David Chu is a poet and fine art photographer whose work explores themes of identity, emotional vulnerability, and healing. He uses photography as a therapeutic and expressive tool, inviting viewers into intimate moments that are both personal and universally human. Originally from Hawaii, Dustin has lived in cities such as Portland, Seattle, and Las Vegas and has called the Bay Area home for the past six years. Currently a student in the Peralta Community College District, he is working toward an associate degree with plans to transfer to a UC and major in photojournalism, combining his passions for storytelling and visual art.
