Jonathan Swan Jr. is an Oakland native, but has spent their life split between Sacramento and Berkeley, CA. He has a passion for language learning, and its emphasis on interculturality is what has sparked his interest in journalism. He is a novice writer, and has experimented with different writing styles by maintaining a personal blog, but hopes to master the art of journalistic writing during his attendance in the Peralta system and by having a place on The Citizen team.
