Did the Laney Tower think to consider the problems with the Women’s March on Washington?
Namely, the exclusion of trans women’s rights, and the fact that women of color make less money to a man’s dollar than white women?
It would have been nice for the column to not only focus on the general story of the women’s march, but to also place an emphasis on women of color and transgender women.
It also would have been nice to hear about why it seems like white women’s voices dominated the overall movement. Is it still a women’s march if all women are not included?
