Peralta district awards $4,000 in scholarships to eight students

The Peralta Association of African American Affairs has awarded eight students with scholarships for their academic achievements and community involvement.
Two students chosen from each Peralta school will receive $500 respectively, to be used for their future studies. An awards ceremony and reception was held on May 5 to honor this year’s winners, listed below:
