Finding out which Peralta trustee represents you is no simple task. We’ve compiled all the resources we could find to help you figure out whether you’ll be voting in the Area 2 elections this November.
Method 1: Find your address on a map
Area 2 is located in East Oakland, and includes the Coliseum and Castlemont neighborhoods. This detailed map of Area 2 shows its exact boundaries.
Your voting districts are determined by your address on your voter’s registration. You can check or update your California voter’s registration here.
For good measure, we labeled the official map of all seven Peralta trustee areas with the names of the trustees currently holding each seat.
Method 2: Search by address
The Alameda County Registrar of Voters has an online tool to look up your state and local districts. Enter your address into search bar shown here.
In the results, look for the bulletpoint starting with “PERALTA COMM COLLEGE” and take note of the number next to “AREA.”
You can also click on “Show Map” to view maps of each district you live in.
Armed with the knowledge of which trustee area you live in, you can then navigate to the PCCD Board of Trustees website to determine which trustee currently represents you.
