Three qualify for state track meet

The Laney College women’s track and field team, qualified three athletes for the California Community Colleges State Track and Field Championships.

The championship meet will be held Friday-Saturday, May 16–17, at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.

Kortni Smyers-Jones qualified in the 100-meter hurdles and the triple jump.

Jasiri Blake and Inanna Felicity also qualified.
