The article regarding a Cuban official visiting Merritt College is notably the lead story of the March 17 Laney Tower, and the choice was well-made. (“Cuban official visits Merritt/First U.S. Cuban embassy secretary talks new relations with U.S.”)
The story rectifies misled ideas, including the liberties that the United States has taken with this island nation. 
However, the Cuban secretary’s visit is merely an implied positive experience.
For that reason a more explicit statement of the assembly’s aftermath would bring more significance to the article.
