Justin Burrows was born and raised in Berkeley, California and enjoys biking and listening to many different genres of music. As an animal lover, Justin has an affinity for dogs and enjoys creative and fiction writing as a hobby and passion. Justin wants to incorporate mixed media, especially photography, into writing as a means of enhancing storytelling. He has always had a profound interest in social politics as well as activism around the many issues we face as a culture and society. He hopes to gain a better understanding of world politics and issues by traveling. His goal is to report on problems that affect all of us within the system and the solutions that we can create as a community. During his time at the Citizen, Justin hopes to spread awareness about issues that impact different people everyday.
