The Citizen presents: “On Campus During COVID-19: The Laney College Carpentry Department”

In our first video of the “On Campus During COVID-19” series, Leticia Luna, Social Media for The Citizen introduces viewers to the Laney College Carpentry Department, one of the first programs to return to campus after the lockdown in March 2020.

The need for equipment and hands-on learning was a tremendous loss to students, however, Department Chair Karl Seelbach and carpentry students relate that with creativity and patience the department has flourished in its return to the lab space.

Her interests range from environment to education, and living abroad since 2013 has given her the opportunity to explore and learn about many cultures — so her interest in cultural diversity has only grown.
