ASLC President Carl Oliver has set up a Town Hall discussion on “Law Enforcement on Campus” for Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Laney Forum for all Peralta students.
“Everyone will have two minutes to speak about their feelings about law enforcement on campus,” Oliver explained. “Do they feel safe? Intimidated? I’ve asked the Alameda County Sheriff officers that patrol the campuses to show up and address the concerns of the students.”
